A beloved hymn penned by the blind Fanny J. Crosby. Based on Psalm 32:7 and Exodus 33:22, it is a statement of trust in the midst of hardship. Fanny became blind at an early age due to a botched medical procedure, but she went on to become the composer of hundreds of hymns. William Fitzpatrick composed the music for this setting.
